The Pairing Experience

We’ve partnered with Austin’s Delysia Chocolatier to create a five-course pairing of chocolates designed specifically to complement Dark Roast Porter.

Course 1: Origin Comparison

• Three single-origin dark chocolates (Ghana, Ecuador, Madagascar)
• How terroir affects both chocolate and coffee
• Porter served at cellar temperature

Course 2: Inclusions

• Chocolate with espresso nibs
• Chocolate with sea salt
• How salt enhances chocolate and beer

Course 3: Texture Play

• Silky ganache truffle
• Crunchy chocolate bark
• Exploring mouthfeel contrasts

• 85% dark chocolate
• 70% dark chocolate

Our events coordinator and a Delysia chocolatier lead you through each pairing, explaining the flavor science and giving you vocabulary to describe what you taste.
